Darkmatter Hydrofoils

Olympic-class racing kitefoils. In 2018 I set off with a group of friends, engineers, kiteracers, and composites experts to design, build, and produce the world's best kitefoil for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. Over eight months, we designed, built, and tested multiple prototypes of high-performance racing hydrofoils, and began the process of certification with the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA). Ultimately, delays in prototype construction limited our design iterations, and our design fell short of performance goals.
