Belmont Kite Classic

The Belmont Kite Classic is an open-class kitefoil regatta held in Long Beach, California. The regatta is centered around the local kite community and is focused on creating a fun, professional, and accessible racing environment for all skill levels. The Belmont Kite Classic was held on September 16–17, 2018. I co-hosted the event with Cody Stansky and was responsible for event organization, promotion, race operations, and sponsor relations. Trophies were made from upcycled hydrofoil wings.
